NLi080X integrated drive motor and EtherCAT

Dear Sirs,

we have question about the integrated drive NLi080X linear motor.

1) we have NLi080X-52-HR-A motor in our machine, are this model compatible with your EtherCAT Bus Converter ?
2) what are the connection on the BUS Converter ?
3) From our EtherCAT PLC, it is EtherCAT Bus converter a EtherCAT slave and it is transparent for the PLC to reach the motors ?

Dear Luca,

NLi080X-52-HR are MODBUS RTU only motor and in combination with our EtherCAT Bus Converter you can only manage read and write to the internal register of the integrated drive. The best configuration in order to use all the function of our EtherCAT bus converter is using NLi080X-52-HR-CAN with CanOPEN interface.

The EtherCAT Bus converter act as a slave for your PLC and will be mapped upto 10 motor sharing the status and control word in a transpart way. SDO will be used to read and write into the integrated drive registers.
